Pedram Ghamisi

Pedram Ghamisi (S’12, M’15, SM’18) graduated with a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Iceland in 2015. He works as (1) the head of the machine learning group at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), Germany and (2) research professor and group leader of AI4RS at the Institute of Advanced Research in Artificial Intelligence (IARAI), Austria. His research interests include interdisciplinary research on machine (deep) learning with a sharp focus on remote sensing applications.
